Kindling North is just me. No layers, no fluff —just someone who gives a damn and knows how to turn a spark into something bigger and better for customers up north in the Parry Sound and Muskoka area who do not have the time, resources or budget for marketing.

Running a small, local business isn’t just a job—it’s your time, your weekends, your family, and your sanity all rolled into one.
I know how easy it is for marketing to fall to the bottom of the list. The website updates get handed off to whoever has a spare minute. The email you’ve been meaning to send sits there all week… and then the weather finally turns nice, the boat’s calling, or the yard needs attention.
I get it—because I’ve lived it.
Growing up in Niagara, my family ran a small farm while still juggling full-time jobs. Later, I ran a tourism-based business where I watched the marketing budget shrink year after year—replaced by equipment repairs and rising material costs you can’t control. As a creative strategist this was SO hard to swallow where my budget was going!
Now living in Carling in the Parry Sound area, that local mentality is why I care about helping businesses like yours. Marketing shouldn’t feel overwhelming, expensive, or like something you “should get to someday.” It should feel manageable—and actually help your business grow.

I’m the person you call when you’re tired of trying to do it all yourself.
With over 15 years of experience in marketing, I’ve done a bit of everything—because that’s what small businesses need. I’ve planned campaigns, managed social media, rebuilt websites, created branding, organized events, and figured out where marketing dollars actually make a difference (and where they don’t).
Now, with Kindling North, I’m keeping things local and grounded. I want to work with businesses in the Northern Ontario corridor that value practical help, honest advice, and someone who understands how real life gets in the way sometimes.
